This weekend we’re launching a new series “What Do You Want?”
We will be talking about four gifts that Jesus offers:
1) Hope
2) Peace
3) Joy
4) Love
So this weekend I’m talking about “Hope.” Here’s a thought…
Hope is not static; it’s dynamic. It changes as life changes and yet one part of it stays the same… we always hope for something better! Have you ever hoped for something worse?

I might be the only idiot who would dare to say “yes” to that question. I have hoped that a few prodigols in my life would hit their rock bottom, whatever that is, so there would be no other place to turn but up and back home to righteous living. I guess that is better in the long run.
God gave me peace when my husband was in the Army & went overseas during the first Gulf war (Desert Storm 1990-1991).
We had just had our first child a couple month’s prior to his leaving and he was gone for several months. Although it was difficult being seperated & especially during such uncertain circumstances; I had such a peace surround me & I knew only God can give you that kind of peace. I am so thankful for God being with me ALWAYS!
