This week was exciting for a lot of reasons!
We stared our new sermon series “Just Walk Across the Room.” In this series we are
teaching about the value and “How to” of personal evangelism… leading your friends to Jesus!
Vern and I are team teaching the first two weeks of this series. It was really pretty cool today team teaching with Vern. It was a first for us but I think we pulled it off!
We had a total of 627 this week! The weather was TERRIBLE so we were down in
attendance, but the worship was awesome and we enjoyed everyone who was there!
We had Pizza with the Pastors after our second service today. We do this every quarter to provide an opportunity for new attenders to meet the staff AND for the staff to meet all of the new people coming to the church! It is a great time to get to talk together… and eat pizza!
After everyone left the church the fire alarm went off! We had fire trucks and firemen running around the church! Fortunately everything is okay… a malfunction in the system!
