Northgate news…

Geeze Louise… it’s hoppin around here these days!

We’re ramping up for the biggest weekend of the church year and a LOT of stuff is happening…

  • We’re getting ready to start a new sermon series “Shattered… He’s Not Who You Thought He Was”! Hey, make sure you invite your unsaved/unchurched friends to this one! Week One = Jesus Was a Rebel! We’re gonna put it on the line… Jesus was considered a rebel by the religious establishment of His day because of the people He “welcomed” and “associated with.” We’re gonna call people to salvation this weekend! Be in prayer for this weekend!
  • Justin Michau, our Creative Arts Director, hit it out of the park with the ad for the newspaper that he created! It was so good that the Batavia Daily News called the church and asked us what agency we hired to create that add! That’s what the church should be doing! We should be setting the pace for excellence because what we create and implement reflects on our Leader… Jesus! Way to go Justin, and Jesus may you be honored as we give you our best!
  • The construction for the Emily Grace Pavilion has begun! You can read more about the genesis of this project here. The progress thus far…

  • With the release of the Easter ad we are unveiling a new Northgate logo (another “Way to go Justin”!)

Love to ya’ll… PRAY BIG FOR THIS WEEKEND!

  1. It’s so awesome to see the pavilion construction starting! Can’t wait to watch it develop and be finished!

Can I ask what was wrong with the “old” logo? Why did you feel it needed to be changed? I think the “old” one is more eye-catching. People were starting to become familiar with the logo, providing name recognition, which is always a good thing. Are we going to be changing our sign out front too? Just wondering.

Kudos to Justin on the great ad! It doesn’t surprise me that the newspaper people were wondering who did it! I’m looking to seeing more of Justin’s work in the future. He’s been a great addition to the team!

    Looking forward to this weekend!

  2. The new logo is nice but there is nothing wrong with the old logo which is not all that old and people I think identify that with Northgate. I think this should be a decision made by the church membership and not just the management.
