For my blogging friends…
- Daily Blog Tips has a helpful post for bloggers – Ten Ways To Improve Your Reader’s Experience.
- Penelope Trunk has a post called “How to get a six-figure book deal from your blog.” While she certainly does address this topic, she also has some good advice for bloggers and blogs in general. (Thanks to ProBlogger for this lead)
For my pastor friends…
- Perry has a two-part post entitled “Watch out” in which he talks about what he’s learning from Paul’s counsel to Timothy about life and doctrine. He also talks about lack of a certain “style” of ministry. It’s really good stuff! (Part 1; Part 2)
- My friend Nathan writes a great piece on why we should cancel “expired” services… church services that are no longer accomplishing their purpose.
- Seth Godin has a thought provoking piece in which he asks who’s caring about the “vibe” (aka environment) around your organization? Pastors, we should be asking this about our churches!
- Sharing Burdens is a new blog that allows people to “put it out there” and be totally vulnerable. It is a great online community. It’s a great way to learn about yourself and other people.
