  1. Oh I can just see it….
The Peterson Family van stops at a rest stop…..
    People gaze…..
    Wonder……
    a dog too?……
Just smile at the observers and say
with conviction of the blues brothers
“Im on a misson for God!”

  2. I feel for you! Traveling just 8 MINUTES with 4 children and a dog is complicated enough!! Adding TONS of luggage, restraining systems (seat belts and car seats), lack of oxygen (or at least CLEAN air), lots of noise in a very small area and an extra 7 hours and 42 minutes is just asking for trouble!!!!!

I see you’ve made one of the most important decisions in your life and invested in one of man’s most wonderful inventions called the “portable dvd player”!! Did you also invest in another very important invention called the “earphones”? For me, these are MUST-HAVES for any trip with the kids over 5 minutes long!!

Thanks for the pictures too. They bring things into perspective for those people out there who don’t have as many children or pets!!

Hope you have a great trip, despite the traveling arrangements!!

  3. so, Paul, do you like Strawberry Shortcake or not? šŸ™‚
    Have a great canvassing trip!

PS — I love the “minnie mouse” wedged into the cracks! I’ve made that play before!

  4. I love the look on your dogs face…. It’s as if he is saying, “Just leave me here… really, I’ll be ok”

I am in awe of your packing skills…. very impressive!

    Later,
    B

  5. dude…i have so been where you are at. the travel itself isn’t so bad, it’s the packing and loading that is a nightmare.

    nicely done.

  6. WOW, I’ve never seen so many blankets, pillows, etc. I did catch the DVD player. It was hard to find the beautiful ladies! and the poor dog she looks so thrilled with the idea. Cudos to Sherri for the packing job! I’m still smiling and I hope you are too. Have a wonderful, God filled mission.
