House hunting – day three

Yesterday (Thursday) we looked at ten different places. We are narrowing it down to the top three.

We had lunch with one of the staff members from Crossroads church to discuss ministry in the Cincinnati area. We ate at Skyline! I’ve eaten at either Skyline or Goldstar every day since we’ve been here. If I keep this up I’m going to have to start wearing sweatpants! πŸ˜‰

It didn’t rain yesterday. It was 90+ degrees! I’m going with heat over water… at least while we’re looking at houses!

We’ve got more houses lined up today and Saturday and maybe even Sunday afternoon!

Figuring out where you’re going to live can be a pretty intense experience. There’s so much involved and it engages my “daddy’s heart” and on my “provider’s instinct” at new levels. It’s crazy.

  1. Paul,
I hope the Surgeon General never issues a “Chili may be habit forming” label! πŸ™‚
Thanks for supporting the local economy even before you actually get there! πŸ™‚
I am working on a worship set for Sunday that is all about God’s shepherding role. Listen to the voice of the Shepherd — you know it! Concentrate well beyond “10 more houses??!!” and “record-breaking heat”.
It will be worth it all, do not grow weary in well-doing!!
    Mike
