My friend and Rindy’s son, Tim, asked me to help him on his senior exit project. He was making a case for a pro-life position and wanted a “pastor’s perspective” on this issue.
I made a ten minute video for him in which I answered various questions which he posed to me. Yesterday I received this comment on the blog:
This was truly very educational to me and I have shown it to my children because my eldest daughter had a friend considering abortion and she didn’t see anything wrong with it. I have just showed it to her friend that was going to have an abortion and now thank God she was moved by your video and the post and she has decided to not have an abortion and to keep the child even though she knows it is going to be a lot of work! God Bless you and thank you so much for the video you did! It saved a baby’s life!
Gosh, I wonder who that little person will become? I wonder how life would be different for mom if Tim wouldn’t have taken this position? I wonder how many people’s lives, in the future, will be shaped by this little life saved because one young man, Tim, made a case for life. Way to go Tim for making your case, and way to go mom for making this decision.
So anyway, here’s the video…
Awesome video Paul. Great job communicating your thoughts with Biblical truths about this topic.
Wow, just wow. What an amazing video. I’m going to share it with some of my friends.
Wow Good Stuff Paul, This is why I don’t like abortion, What is Abraham Lincolns mother had an abortion or what if Christopher Columbus’ Mother had an abortion, or Martin Luther Kings’, or what is Mary had an abortion, where would we be without Jesus, Like you said every one of us is in Gods’ image yet we are unique and offer different characteristics to serve in Gods’ kingdom. God has a plan for everyone and it does say in Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” How can anyone argue that?
That’s amazing. Especially the research Tim didn’t have access to at the school. I had the same problem–except there was no internet–for a similar project and topic. i couldn’t find anything in print in the library arguing against using public funds to pay for abortions. I had to change my stance because I could only find research for the opposite opinion. Boy this sex ed is tricky stuff. Wish more parents would take responsibility for it and not leave it solely to the schools. I’ll have to stop now before I go on and on and on…
Tough questions for you Paul. I think you did a great job in giving some genuine answers.
Paul I need to tell you that was excellent!! It was the truth spoken in the close embrace of humble love that comes from Jesus presence in you man. Don’t loose that edge!! You’ve already seen the power that has to impact lives.
Praise God–Paul I am so glad that you have shown others how you feel about abortion. It was a wonderful video and I really was happy to watch it–Keep growing –we are praying for all of you–We love you and your family–MAC
