Have the hard conversation

Right now I’m reading Timothy Ferriss’ book, “The 4-Hour Work Week.” Lest you think it’s a book for lazy people let me tell you, getting to the “4 hour work week” requires rigorous discipline and a monster-size commitment to focused work!

Anyhow, reading last night I came across this quote, “A person’s success in life can usually be measured by the number of uncomfortable conversations he/she is willing to have.”

DUDE! That’s dead on! What I’ve realized as a husband, father, pastor, leader, man, etc. is that often what stands between me and where I want to be is a difficult conversation! It’s probably true for you too!

So, go have your difficult conversation and move on to the next level…
