That’s right! If it was worth putting your hand to the first time then it’s probably worth putting your hand to it a second time.
Today I failed to get my lift (for the second week in a row) at Brutal Iron Gym.
I’m mad. I’m disappointed. But I’m sure as heck not done.
I’m going to back up… work hard… and push that weight right up off my chest.
You know what? Life is a lot like the gym. You’re going to fail from time to time.
You can quit. Walk away. Live the rest of your life with anger and disappointment.
OR
you can back up… work hard… and go for it again.
You see, the obstacle isn’t going to get any heavier, but you can get stronger, and in time you’ll move that weight!
