Last Sunday we had some family pics taken. As I looked over them I realized a few things:
- God was really nice to me when He sent Sherri my way. I love her more today than I did seventeen years ago!
- We have six diverse, beautiful, and talented daughters. The responsibility that comes with being “Dad” to all of these princess warriors is off the chart. I am reminded that prayer must be a part of my daily routine.
- I hope my girls marry a man that loves them as much as I love their mom. And I hope they are even half the women their mom is.
OK, enough chest beating about my lovely ladies… Here are some pics for my journal and my friends.
Tonight the ladies discovered that you could do more with sleeping bags than just sleep in them!
Last Sunday after church a friend of ours snapped some pictures of my ladies! I’ve got to share a few of them!
And probably my favorite of the day…
The other day Ashton and I were on our date. After splitting a frosty at Wendy’s we played games and told jokes. I snapped this picture with my phone while she was tracing the letters in a message that I had written to her in “connect the dot” form.
My heart is always happy when we do this and hers is too.
If you’re a parent you can’t afford not to date your child! Do it today and you’ll be glad today… and tomorrow… and when they’re grown!
Yesterday at church a friend grabbed her camera and took some pics. Gosh… I love these ladies!
