One of the things that Walls Down Church will regularly teach about is money.

Yahoo Finance reports that in the first quarter of 2007, “one in every 194 households received a foreclosure filing during the quarter. Foreclosure filings increased in all but four states.” In the 45039 zip code alone there are 936 properties in some form of foreclosure (as per realtytrac.com). To not teach about money is an abdication of responsibility!

When undisciplined credit card use disassembles people’s marriages, mandates unhealthy work patterns, and drives them to harmful outlets for stress relief… money needs to be talked about!

We will talk about money from multiple perspectives, but one of our chief focuses will be helping people to discover financial freedom!

One of the ways we will do this is through a financial seminar called Re-Think Money. RTM was founded by Casey Graham and is “changing people’s lives one dollar at a time.” Casey has personally changed the way Sherri and I think about money by changing the way we think about debt, savings, and spending.

I am excited to see what God will do through this partnership of Walls Down and Re-Think Money.
