Here are some really cool posts from blogs I regularly read…

1) Ten Propositions on Worship – a thoughtful commentary on worship at a great new
blog I’ve recently discovered (Thanks Ethan) called “Faith and Theology“).

2) Vulnerability: Strength or Weakness? – a great post by my friend Rindy in which she
explores the whole idea of being vulnerable and discusses it from a personal experience
    standpoint.

3) Leadership interviews – over 60 interviews with pastors and other spiritual leaders. It
is amazing the similarities in their answers to similar questions! It is a great study on
    leadership from a great blogger.

Hey a big THANKS!!!! Man I have bee really discouraged with my leadership role and under great attack. My co-workers love to be in control (can anyone relate?) and I have been frustrated with my work as a counselor/ teacher in the prison. Some feel that individuals do not have the capacity to find purpose I know that God is bigger than walls, barbed wire, fences etc. The comments from the pastors really encouraged me and gave me spiritual insight. It is about helping others find purpose: My favorites were:
    Terry Storch (Nehemiah fan!)
Dino Rizzo who mentioned Gale Erwin (real funny guy)
and Erwin Raphael McManus who stated:

“I would like to change the course of human history.
i’m pretty sure we cant pull this off alone-
so we’re doing every thing we can to
    identify,
    develop,
    maximize,
    and unleash
the God given potental in every person we touch-
    to awaken humanity-
any one of them might be the key.
mosaic exists to create the future.”

    Thanks for the encouraging resource!

Rindy’s talk on vulnerability was fantastic! Superficiality is a real pet peave of mine. I have feared judgement when I felt led to pull some of my skeletons out of the closet, but this is the verse which God has given me regarding this issue. 2 Corinthians 12:7 to 10 “To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
Thanks for sharing Rindy’s thoughts with us!
