WOW! . This just happened! . On Friday we got a call asking Reagan and me if we would be interested in auditioning. They had seen the video of us singing the National Anthem. Our answer, of course, was “YES!!!” . We put a couple of songs together... none of them “worked”. Yesterday we determined that “Hero” by Mariah Carey was the song! . We practiced like crazy and went for it today! . We got called back twice... we’ll know in January what the answer is! . This is CRAZY!!! #firsthalfparenting #armylife #prouddad

I'm praying this prayer every day. This is actually the screen saver on my phone because I need to see it a MILLION TIMES PER DAY! You see... I am a bit of a selfish man. (Anyone else have this problem?) . This prayer and the habit of selflessness starts in my home with my wife and children. . As they grow up, the demands become more intense and require more of me... and that’s when I realize how much reshaping must happen in my heart!!! .
