Funny things kids say

This morning one of “The Ladies” walked up to me and said, “I’m mad.” I asked, “Why?” Her response… “Cause I don’t want to be happy.” OK, I suppose that’s a good enough reason. 😉

I LOVE IT!!! You might want to read “reactions change from first to fourth” on my blog. Our two little ones would keep a smile on everyone’s face with their special hair doos:)

OH MY GOSH….IF SHE ISN’T THE TWIN SISTER OF NATHAN, THEN NO ONE COULD BE! He used to say the exact same thing! She is so stinkin cute! Tell her I love and miss her today!

You know, sometimes I feel the same way. And no matter how much my mind tells me it would be more productive to be happy and be positive, I remain in the mucky muck of a negative funk. I think your daughter’s response is very insightful, and we could all learn a bit about ourselves if we explored why we sometimes feel this way. Any insight that takes away pain is well worth the effort.

Hope your daughter is feelng happy now!

Sometimes I wish I could use that excuse!!! At what age is it not appropriate to feel that way?????

    I agree, she’s definitely a cutie!!

So, Colin’s newest phrase is…”okay, that’s kinda weird?” and most of the time, I wholeheartedly agree. It’s just funny when he gives voice to things I’m also already thinking!
