Yesterday was an historic day with the gathering of some of the most powerful leaders (past, present, and future) in the world.

Today I’m reminded that they have power with a little “p”.

Listen to these words from Psalm 2:10-12

Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned you rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry and you be destroyed in your way, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

I’m proud to be an American. I pray for our leaders who wield great power.

I am more proud to be a child of God. I pray to Him for them because He wields ALL power.

As we move forward on our national/global journey, let’s not forget who has Power with a big “P.” AND let’s not forget that He is accessible and desires our company AND promises blessing to those who lean into Him!
